This paperwork is approved for one year, through June 2001, based on an agreement with NASA that they will pilot electronic submission of Forms 533M and 533Q. The agreed to pilot will use the internet, public key infrastructure, and XML where appropriate and practicable. NASA will provide an update to OIRA every three (3) months with the first update to take place in early September, 2000.

Contractors report planned and incured costs on the 533M & Q, providing data essential for projecting costs/hours to ensure dollar/labor resources realistically support schedules, comparing actual costs to negotiated values, planning, monitoring and controling project/program resources, accruing costs in the accounts (creating liabilities reflected in audited financial statements).
