Approval is granted in concept for the information collection entitled, "Application Booklets - Attorney General's Honor Program, Summer Law Intern Program" through June 2001. Abstract:
APPLICATION LAW EMPLOYMENT STUDENT. The Department of Justice's Honor Program is the sole vehicle for hiring graduating law students. It is highly competitive and attracts thousands of applicants. The Summer Law Intern Program introduces law student to the work of the Department of Justice. Based upon their experience, participants in the Summer Law Intern Program often apply to, and are selected for, the Attorney General's Honor Program. The application booklets describe the Programs' criteria and solicit information from applicants. This information facilitates interviewing and hiring decisions.
