This collection is approved for 12 months, during which time the agency must reexamine its burden estimates, both for the number of respondents and the burden per response. The agency is also instructed to review the requirements of the Privacy Act of 1974, determine if the information collected on this form is subject to the Act, and ensure full compliance. The agency must review its use of the information collected on this form, explain more fully how it conducts its review, whether there have ever been any agency actions resulting from the information gathered on this form, and explain how these results can be acheived in only 6 minutes of Federal time. Finally, the agency is instructed to reexamine its statement that there exists no information technology applicable to this collection.

Abstract:
SBA regulations require that we determine that a participating Certified Development Company's or a Non-Bank Lending Institutions's management, ownership, etc. is of "good character". To do so requires the information requested on the Form 1081. This form also provides data used to determine the qualifications and capabilities of the lenders key personnel.
