Abstract:
To encourage small power and cogeneration production, the Public Utility Regulatory Policies Act of 1978, confers benefits on small power and cogeneration facilities that meet certain owner- ship and technical criteria. FERC Form 556 specifies the criteria thatmust be met and the process by which benefits are obtained.
