Abstract:
This regulation (29 CFR Sec. 2550.408b-1) sets out the terms of section 408(b)(1) of ERISA under which loans from a plan to participants and beneficiaires who are parties in interest are permitted. For purposes of this information collection the regulations clarifies the "specific provisions" regarding such loans that must be set forth in the plan.
