Terms of Clearance:
This information collection is approved to include questions concerning respiratory illness only. Questions on cervical cancer have not been approved. DOL will provide an analysis of the effects of the new incentive payment on its sample demographics as well as the quality of responses upon its next submission. In addition, DOL will report the findings from these new questions in its next submission and evaluate the necessity of these questions in future NAWS studies. This study is approved for two years only.

Abstract:
NAWS provides data and data analysis to public and private service programs which are used for planning, implementing and evaluaitng farm worker programs. Analysis provides an understanding of the manpower resources available to U.S. agriculture and the importance of immigrants in the farm labor market. It is the only national source of information on the demographic, occupational health and employment characteristics of hired crop workers.
