Abstract:
The CDTA created (and the DCDCA amended) DEA's chemical reporting requirements to remove the exemption for certain drugs which contain ephedrine. The MCA removed the exemption for combination ephedrine, pseudoephedrine & phenylpropanolamine drug products. Persons who previously were not required to keep records or make reports regarding sales of these products now must be so.
