Abstract:
This rule implements the requirements in the USA PATRIOT Act (1) prohibiting domestic financial institutions from maintaining correspondent accounts with foreign shall banks and (2) requiring such institutions to maintain records of the owners and agents for service of legal process of foreign banks.
