Terms of Clearance:
Approved through August 2003. As per previous terms of clearance DOL will submit to OMB in 6 months the consolidated Federal-State form for use in every state or will alternatively detail the requirements and reasons that make it infeasible to do so in states where the form has not been created. Upon resubmission, DOL will submit a fully developed and distributed user- friendly guidance document for FLCs that will describe their statute-mandated responsibilities. Given that this marks at least the third round of similar terms of clearance, DOL will not receive clearance unless these terms have been fulfilled.

Abstract:
The Migrant and Seasonal Agricultural Worker Protection Act provides that no individual may perform farm labor contracting activities without a certificate of registration. Form WH-530 is the application form which provides the Department of Labor with the information necessary to issue certificates specifying the farm labor contracting activities authorized.
