Abstract:
Rule 12d3-1 permits a fund to fund to invest up to five percent of its assets in securities of an issuer deriving no more than fifteen percent of its gross revenues from securities-related businesses. This proposed exemption would be conditioned on the fund's advisory contract being amended to include certin clauses that prohibit, among other things, consultation between [investment advisers/subadvisers] that advise the transacting fund and other fund [investment advisers/subadvisers].
