Agency made minor typographical and clarifying changes to the introductory letter, instructions, and accompanying FAQ. Collection is approved for one year-- ED must revise the web application software to incorporate automatic insertion of additional data in time for the 2003 report submission, as discussed in e-mail correspondence between the agency and OMB.

Abstract:
Student Support Services grantees must submit the report annually. The reports are used to evaluate the performance of grantees and to award prior experience points at the end of each project (budget) period. The Department also aggregates the data to provide descriptive information on the programs and to analyze the impact of the program on the academic progress of participating students.
