OMB has corrected the data as reported in item 14 of form 83-I. The agency in its submission provided incomplete data for items a and b and included a value for item d that is not in the current OMB inventory. Further it appears that the agency has reported cost data in dollars and cents instead of thousands of dollars. The agency should review the instructions to form 83-I and well as the instructions to the supporting statement regarding cost burden. If the corrections -- indicated in this notice of action -- need futher revision, the agency should report the data to OMB on a form 83-c.

Abstract:
The information collection is necessary to enable the Federal Home Loan Banks (FHLBanks) to determine whether an applicant satisfies the statutory and regulatory requirements to be certified initially and to maintain its status as a housing associate eligible to receive FHLBank advances. The Federal Housing Finance Board requires and uses the information collection to determine whether to uphold or overrule an FHLBank decision to deny housing associate certification to an applicant.
