Abstract:
Business that manufacturer platform lifts that transport persons with disabilities into and out of motor vehicles must supply installation instructions and a vehicle owner's manual insert to a vehicle manufacturers and modifiers who install the lifts in new vehicles. Lift manufacturers are also required to provide a label on the lift describing instrutions and other information.
