Terms of Clearance: Approved for 9 months in order to allow Fannie Mae (and, in turn, HUD) to come into compliance with the race/ethnicity categories set forth in the 1997 standard. OMB will waive the 60-day notice for the subsequent information collection request and will allow another 2 years on the clearance (if the R/E categories are the only change being made at that time). It is noted that this collection has been in violation of the PRA since 1/31/01. HUD shall work to ensure that no such violations of the PRA occur in the future.
