Terms of Clearance: OMB notes that the one public comment received on this ICR suggested that USDA consider a form format for the required statement of activity. In the supporting statement, RHS noted that it will examine the issues raised by the public comment which may result in future changes to the Agency's regulations. Before its next submission of this ICR, USDA shall complete this evaluation and make a determination as to whether the suggested changes would improve the practical utility of the information collection and/or reduce burden. If so, the next submission of this ICR should incorporate these changes. OMB also believes the estimated cost to respondents is low. USDA shall examine and update its cost estimates based on recent consultation with respondents prior to its next submission.

Abstract: Regulation promulgates the policies and procedures for making grants under Section 533 of the Housing Act of 1949 to provide funds to eligible applicants to conduct housing preservation progrms benefitting very low and low-income rural residents.
