Abstract:
FERC Form 714 is used by the Commission to implement Sections 4, 202, 207, 210, 211-213,304, 309 and 4311 of the Federal Power Act as amended (49 Stat. 838; 16 USC 791a-825r). The information collected allows the Commissioin to analyze power system operations in the course of its regulatory functions. The pur- poses of these analyses is toestimate the effect of changes in power system operations that result from the installation of a new generating unit or plant, transmission facilities, energy transfers between systems and/or new points of interconnections.
