Terms of Clearance:
This information collection request is approved for five months. In order to request a full three-year clearance, the agency must publish the required notices in the Federal Register. In the process of developing a new request, the agency must evaluate whether management of this form is most appropriately handled by the agency or the Small Business Administration, must develop revisions to this form in coordination with SBA so as to ensure consistency with SBA programs, must revise the form to comply with OMB guidelines on the collection of race and ethnicity data (issued in 1997), and must develop a supporting statement that reflects all uses of the data collected on this form, including those uses by SBA. Approval of this request is limited to five months to encourage expeditious action on these items.

Abstract:
Ex-Import Bank provides working capital guarantees to institution financing exports. The form provides information which allows the Bank to find the legislatively required reasonable assurance of repayment as well as other statutory requirements. The affected public consists of all entities invloved in the export of U.S. goods and services including exporters, commercial banks and other non-bank lenders which apply for working capital loans that are advanced by the lenders to U.S. exporters.
