Terms of Clearance:
The Department of Education will issue guidance to schools on what aggregate data must be reported in terms of race and ethnicity. The next submission of this package will reflect changes to the race/ethnicity categories, as approved by OMB. In addition, this collections will be phased out with the completion of the Performance Based Data Management Initiative.

Abstract:
This package provides instructions and forms necessary for States to report, by race and ethnicity, the number of infants and toddlers with disabilities who: a) are served under IDEA, Part C; b) are served in different program settings; and c) exit Part C because of program completion and for other reasons. Data are obtained from state and local service agencies and are used to assess and monitor the implementation of IDEA and for Congressional reporting.
