Abstract:
To qualify for a targeted teacher deferment the borrower for each school year of service for which deferment is requested must provide the lender a statement by the chief administrative officer of the public or non-profit private elementary on secondary school in which the borrower is teaching, certifying that the borrower is employed as a full-time teacher in a teacher shortgage area designated by the Secretary.
