Terms of Clearance: Approved for one year. By August 15, Education will provide OMB an update on its plans to collect additional data on the campus based institutions to improve program management, consistent with the findings of PART question 3.1. These data shall include, but shouldn't be limited to data that could be used to derive credit reform estimates for the Perkins Loan program. Per ED, this additional data may be collected through a data exchange with campus based institutions, revisions to NSLDS as part of the system's redesign, or by collecting additional student level data through ADVance. Education will also update OMB on its overall plans to redesign NSLDS, and any plans it has for using ADVance to collect student level information that can be used for program management purposes, including student level information in the campus based programs.

Abstract: This application data will be used to compurte the amount of funds needed by each school for the 2006-2007 award year. The Fiscal Operations Report data will be used to assess program effectiveness, account for funds expended during the 2003-2004 award year, and as part of the school funding process. The Reallocation form is part of the FISAP on the web. Schools will use it in the summer to return unexpended funds for 2003-2004 and request supplemental FWS funds for 2004-2005.
