Abstract:
Rule is needed to enable the Commission to demodulate all spread spectrum transmissions and assure that amateur radio operations using spread spectrum techniques comply with the rules. The recordkeeping requirement in Section 97.311 is necessary to document all spread spectrum transmissions by amateur radio operators.
