Abstract:
The Departmentof State is required to collect certain information from applicants seeking non-immigrant visas before issuance of a visa. The DS-158 will use the information collected on the form to comply with Section 501 of the Enhanced Border Security Act and to evaluate the elligibility of an applicant for a visa. All aliens seeking a visa to study in the U.S. will be required to complete the DS-158.
