Abstract:
The Lien Notice enables the carriers, cartman, and similar businesses to notify Customs that a lien exists against an individual/business for non-payment of freight charges, etc., so that the Bureau of Customs and Border Protection will not permit delivery of the merchandise from public stores or from a bonded warehouse until the line is discharged.
