Abstract:
The survey obtains initial data on new foreign direct investment in the United States and identification information on the U.S. entity being established or acquired and on the foreign owner. The data are needed to measure the economic significance of new foreign direct investment in the United States, measure changes in such investment, and assess its impact on the U.S. economy.
