Abstract:
This application will be used to apply for monetary compensation by U.S. nationals and U.S. government employees who become victims of acts of international terrorism that occur(red) outside the United States. The application will be used to collect necessary information on expenses incurred by the applicant, as associated with their victimization, as well as other pertinent information, and will be used by OVC to make an award determination.
Emergency Justfication:
Congress has been pushing DOJ, Office of Justice Programs, Office for Victims of Crime to have this program implemented as soon as possible. The program office has notified Congress that the program will be implemented by 9/30/06. We are requesting an emergency approval for this Information Collection in order for the program to meet the deadline of 9/30/06.
