Abstract:
BIA can guarantee or insure up to 90% of loans that private lenders extend to Tribes or Indians for economic enterprise on reservations. The information requested determines initial eligibility and reasonable prospects for repayment, and keeps BIA aware of developments in businesses financed with guaranteed or insured loans.
