Short Statement: The Agency is requesting an adjustment decrease of two hours from 295 hours to 293 hours. The two-hour reduction is the result of decreasing the number of employees submitting records (from three sets of records to one set of records) to NIOSH under Transfer of records (§1910.1050(n)(7)). There is an overall increase in capitol costs of $312 (from $19,000 to $19,312) resulting from the following: an increase of $300 for two additional medical examinations; a $37 increase due to rounding, and a decrease of $25 due to reducing the number of employers mailing records to NIOSH.
