Abstract:
An applicant must notify the disposal agency such as GSA Regional & Headquarters offices, the Dept. of Defense (DOD) Base Realignment Closure (BRAC) Offices, and FEMA Regional & Headquarters offices of its intent to acquire the property. An applicant must formally submit a completed Excess Fed. Real Property Prog. Application for Public Benefit Conveyances including supporting documentation to FEMA. FEMA will then determine if the requested excess Fed. real property is required for emergency management response use.

There are no program changes. However, there is an adjustment due to an agency estimate which resulted in an increase in the number of participants. This was brought on by the DOD Base Relocation & Closure activities that makes more properties available for the public benefit conveyances at no costs.

On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that the collection of information encompassed by this request complies with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR 1320.8(b)(3).
