Short Statement: The prior submission, rather than recognizing the subset of transactions involving recordkeeping as part of the then-overall transaction total of 36 million, added it to the overall total, rendering an inflated transaction count of 39.6 million. The instant submission instead recognizes the portion of transactions involving recordkeeping as being part of the overall currently estimated total of 38 million transactions; hence, not added to it. The increase in overall transactions and burden hour totals from the prior submission is solely due to an increase in the estimated number of contact lens wearers in the U.S. from 36 million to 38 million.
