Terms of Clearance:
Approved consistent with the following terms of clearance: IMLS will include burden statements with all forms cleared under this generic clearance. OMB will review IMLSs grant program applications, post-award reporting, and peer reviewer applications. IMLS shall maintain a running tally of approved burden hours used by each package under this generic clearance. IMLS will submit grant program applications, post-award reporting, and peer reviewer applications for review by OMB which will generally be conducted in approximately 10 days. However, OMB must affirmatively approve each package under the generic before IMLS begins information collection.

Abstract:
IMLS requests clearance for the forms it uses for all of the grant program applications, post-award reporting, and peer reviewer applications. These forms are directly related to the generic clearance for IMLS grant application and award processes (3137-0029) for which a three-year extension was recently submitted.

Prior to this clearance submission, all of the forms related to IMLS' grant programs were included in the generic clearance 3137-0029. On recommendation from OMB, the forms are now submitted for separate clearance. The hours/costs included in this submission are now separate from the hours/costs represented in the generic clearance. IMLS reviewed all forms (application and post-award reporting), including the estimated burden hours, which are reflected in this submission.

On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that the collection of information encompassed by this request complies with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR 1320.8(b)(3).
