OSHA is requesting to increase the burden hours of these paperwork requirements from 34,617 hours to 39,531 hours, a total increase of 4,914 hours. The Agency is also requesting a $318,440 increase from $2,023,000 (rounded) to $2,341,440. The Agency increased the number of establishments (from 12,113 to 12,719). The increase in establishments is a result of using the current North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code versus the outdated SIC codes. NAICS data provides updated information on the number of establishments previously referenced in SIC codes.
