Abstract:
FEMA and State using the Mitigation grant programs will use the information collected under property acquisition requirements to implement property acquisition activities under the terms of grant agreements for acquisition and relocation activities. FEMA and States will also use the information to monitor and enforce the open space requirements for all properties acquired with FEMA Mitigation grants.
Emergency Justfication:
This is a new information collection. This collection will include burden hours for the authorized Severe Repetitive Loss (SRL) grant program. The Interim Final Rule for SRL, (1660-AA36) was published in the Federal Register on October 31, 2007, volume 72, number 210, Pages 61720-61750.

This is a new collection of information. FEMA submit an Interim Final Rule for the Property Acquisition and Relocation for Open Space proposed 44 CFR Part 80) that will govern acquisition for all of FEMA's Mitigation grant programs. There has been a program increase of +11,424 annual burden hours for Property Acquisiton and Relocation for Open Space. An adjustment increase of $662,352.32 is have also been estimated to include the wage rate category for respondents based on burden hour cost.
