Abstract:
eLandings, the data element component of Interagency Electronic Reporting System (IERS) allows processors and others to submit all required landings reports for groundfish, Crab Rationalization Program (CR) crab, Individual Fishery Quota (IFQ) halibut, IFQ sablefish, and Western Alaska Community Development Quota Program(CDQ) halibut to National Marine Fisheries Service, Alaska Region, International Pacific Halibut Commission and Alaska Department of Fish and Game with a single reporting session. This action revises the collection which formerly was used for data submittal for CR crab and Central Gulf of Alaska rockfish.

1233 participants in groundfish, IFQ halibut, IFQ sablefish, and CDQ halibut are transferred from other collections. Assiciated responses total 94,464. Associated burden hours total 55,531. Miscellaneous costs total $9,135. Two forms are removed and placed into a new collection for crab reporting forms, unchanged. The Catcher/processor offload report is removed; this form has: Total estimated responses:30. Total estimated responses: 2400. Total estimated burden hours: 792. Total estimated personnel cost: $19,800. Total estimated miscellaneous cost: $7,200. The ECCO annual report for an ECC is removed; this form has: Total estimated respondents: 8. Total estimated responses: 8. Total estimated burden hours: 320 hr. Total estimated personnel costs: $8,000. Total estimated miscellaneous cost: $48. Net response increase is 94,056 (96,464 new responses - 2,408 responses removed). Net hourly burden increase is 54,419 (55,531 - 1,112). Net cost burden increase is $1931.
