Short Statement: The increase in burden occurred when it became evident that MMS had not adequately cov-ered the burden for 30 CFR 250.301(a).There are approximately 4,000 manned and unmanned facilities in the OCS.For some unapparent reason, only the burden for the manned facil- ities, and not the unmanned facilities, had been included in this collection. Mean while, industry has always, and continues to do inspections on all facilities and keeps appro-priate records.Therefore, we request an adjustment increase to rectify this situation.
