Abstract:
The National Land Remote Sensing Education, Outreach and Research Program (NLRSEORP)promotes the uses of space-based land remote sensing data and technologies through education and outreach at the State and local level and through university based and collaborative research projects. Nonprofit organizations, Public and Private colleges and universities may apply for financial support by completing forms SF 424, SF 424a and SF 342b (the paperwork burden for these forms have been previously approved). After acceptance, progress reports covering each yearÂ’s activities must be submitted as described in the award terms and conditions.

On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that the collection of information encompassed by this request complies with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR 1320.8(b)(3).
The following is a summary of the topics, regarding the proposed collection of information, that the certification covers:
