Short Statement: In Jully, a 14% sample cut resulted in a decrease of 8,484 burden hours. For July 2008, we propose removing vandalism and hate crime questions for household respondents (-327 hours) in order to add questions on the emotional toll for violent crime victims (35 hours). The net change for July 2008 is a reduction by 312 hours. Combined there is a 8,796 hour reduction.
