Short Statement: The total burden for this information collection renewal has decreased by 250 hours from the previous submission. The decrease in burden results solely from one adjustment. Specifically, under section 227.119(a), FRA revised (lowered) its estimate of the number of hearing conservation programs (HCPs) that will be developed by railroads (from 461 to 441). This change in estimate decreased the burden by 250 hours (from 956 hours to 706 hours). The current inventory for this submission shows a total of 44,178 hours, while the present submission exhibits a total of 43,928 hours. Hence, there is a decrease of 250 hours. There are no changes in cost to respondents from the previous submission.
