The purpose of this collection is to eliminate brucellosis disease in livestock through necessary surveillance, epidemiological investigation, annual reporting, and interstate movement activities that must be documented.

The burden increased by +422,903 hours resulting from a program change of 250,893 hours due additional forms that were not accounted for in previous submissions of the collection. There is also an adjustment of +172,010 hours due to the program revising the figures to reflect a more accurate use of the forms in the brucellosis program.
