Provides data on the number of mink pelts produced by color, class, and number of females bred to produce kits the following year. Estimates are based on complete enumeration. Estimates are used by Government and industry sources in production and marketing decisions.

There is an increase of 45 hours, of which 1 hour is a program change for the addition of a new questionnaire that will be going to Mink Dealers to collect price data. The remaining is due to the inclusion of burden for the pre-survey letter/publicity materials along with the multiple mailings for non-respondents.

On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that the collection of information encompassed by this request complies with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR 1320.8(b)(3).
