Abstract:
New rules require mutual funds to submit interactive data with any registration statement or post-effective amendment on Form N-1A that includes or amends risk/return summary information submitted under the Securities Act of 1933 (15 U.S.C. 77a et seq.) and the Investment Company Act of 1940 (15 U.S.C. 80a-1 et seq.). Rules also require mutual funds to submit interactive data with form of prospectus filed pursuant to rule 497(c) or (e) under the Securities Act of 1933.

The Commission adopted rules requiring mutual funds to submit interactive data with any registration statement or post-effective amendment on Form N-1A that includes or amends risk/return summary information submitted under the Securities Act of 1933 (15 U.S.C. 77a et seq.) and the Investment Company Act of 1940 (15 U.S.C. 80a-1 et seq.). Rules also require mutual funds to submit interactive data with form of prospectus filed pursuant to rule 497(c) or (e) under the Securities Act of 1933.
