Short Statement:
This is a new information collection system that Education has been working with state directors of Migrant Education for several years in order to facilitate sharing of migrant students information between states to facilitate better and more thorough education for this movable student population. Annually, by semesters, and as student move between states this will aid states place the latest student accomplishments into this system located in Florida that the next state that receives these students may draw down this important information to assure that students are placed in proper classes and grades to encourage a nearly seamless education.
