Short Statement:
Incidental use requests and requests to release EDAs property interest have increased since 2006 in response to rapid economic shifts as well as changes in the health of the real estate market and municipal finances (45 to 105). EDA has determined that the previous estimate of 4 hours (now 2 hours and 45 minutes) to prepare a request was excessive, given that most requests are a single page letter. The ROCIS system is showing $0 cost burden for the previous submission due to rounding off when migrating the collection to ROCIS. The system allows the actual cost increase of $66 to be recorded.

On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that the collection of information encompassed by this request complies with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR 1320.8(b)(3).
