Short Statement:
To comply with the Terms of Clearance to increase response rate, NASS is requesting approval to use a "Prices Paid Screener" yes/no questionnaire this fall before the actual survey is mailed out to refresh sampled population, confirm/correct addresses and business contacts and if they are a co-op with multiple locations or an independent opertion. An 80 percent response rate is expected. This will increase burden by 1,980 hours.

On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that the collection of information encompassed by this request complies with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR 1320.8(b)(3).
