Abstract:
The Commission is revising this information collection to eliminate the information collection requirements necessitated by the DTV transition. After the June 12, 2009 nationwide transition deadline, there will be no further need for these DTV transition-related collections. In addition, the Commission is revising this collection to update the specific Informal Application filing forms that may be filed electronically through the Commissions Consolidated Database System (CDBS).

Short Statement:
There are program changes to the annual number of responses of -945, annual burden hours of -558 hours and to the annual cost burden of -$32,750 which are due to the completion of the DTV transition. There are also adjustments to this information collection of -2,310 to the annual number of responses, -2,965 to the annual burden hours and +$864,270 to the annual cost burden. These adjustments are due to the Commission consolidating information collections 3060-0184 and 3060-0407 into collection 3060-0386 and also reevaluating the number of responses, annual burden hours and annual cost burden for this information collection.
