Short Statement: The estimate for the 2009 BE-10 benchmark survey of 459,400 burden hours is somewhat more than the respondent burden for the previous (2004) benchmark survey. For the 2004 survey, the estimated burden was 428,750 hours. The increase in burden hours is associated with an increase in the respondent universe, partly offset by changes in survey form design and reporting criteria and information to be collected.
