Abstract:
Currently, the Office on Violence Against Women administers 2 formula grant programs and 17 discretionary grant programs. OVW developed a solicitation template so that OVW would ask for information from prospective applicants in a consistent manner no matter which grant program was the subject of an application and to ease the burden on applicants who are submitting applications to different grant programs.
Emergency Justfication:
OVW is seeking expedited, emergency review and approval of the solicitation template by November 1, 2009 so that OVW can meet its Fiscal Year deadlines of posting solicitations, reviewing applications and making grant awards.
