Terms of Clearance:
In accordance with 5 CFR 1320, the information collection is approved for 3 years. Additional terms of clearance follow: 1)Monthly data will be presumed to be for internal use, but where made public, DOE will caveat the data as "preliminary/informal and subject to change"; 2)DOE will include language reflective of term 1) in both its supporting statements and guidance; 3)DOE will continue to collect jobs data on a quarterly rather than monthly basis; 4) upon resubmission, DOE will re-assess the need for monthly relative to quarterly reporting.

A number of State agencies, including Wisconsin, Texas, Florida, Minnesota, and Illinois, collect this information on an up-to daily basis in order to effectively manage their programs. As such the report of this data on a monthly basis is of a very marginal additional burden to State agencies, and includes that time necessary to login to PAGE and provide information that they have already collected

On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that the collection of information encompassed by this request complies with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR 1320.8(b)(3).
The following is a summary of the topics, regarding the proposed collection of information, that the certification covers:
