Terms of Clearance:
Prior to the commencement of the Aquaculture Survey revised forms distribution, the National Agricultural Statistics Service shall provide on its Internet site prominent links to directions on how to obtain a set of finalized survey forms, including instructions and cover letters, comparable to those provided for the 2007 Census of Agriculture report forms. The final forms and letters shall reflect any changes in the survey year, OMB number expiration date, and NASS leadership from those submitted for review

Abstract:
Provides information on US level catfish and trout, along with specialty aquaculture items in Hawaii. Data includes: inventory levels, acreage and sales. Catfish data is also available for pounds and volume of catfish processed, and amount of feed delivered to producers. Data are used by government agencies to help carry out import/export programs, monitor disease problems, and measure growth and importance of the industry.

There has been an increase in burden do to the inclusion of a specialty aquaculture survey conducted in Hawaii; the creation of a new Loss survey; and the inclusion of burden for the publicity materials. There is a slight reduction in total burden due to reduced sample sizes.
