Short Statement:
There is a program change of +465 total burden hours. The increase is due to bees coming in from Australia, Canada, and New Zealand under a zoo sanitary certificate (export certificate, PPQ 578) signed by a foreign government official. Due to adding this form, the number of respondents increased from 273 to 333, the number of annual responses increased from 566 to 16,068, and the burden hours increased from 77 to 551. There is also an adjustment for the increase of requests for risk assessments of +16 total burden hours, 2 more respondents, and 2 more annual responses because of increased imports of honeybees and honeybee germ plasm into the United States.
Annual Cost to Federal Government:
$16,921
