Abstract:
Non-Army agencies (including civilian contractors) are required to obtain Army radiation permits to use, store, or possess radiation sources on an Army installation. This notice of proposed rulemaking changes the approval authority for the permits from Commander, U.S. Army Materiel Command, to local installation commanders.
